FINIS - Winter Season 2016-2017 Ends

Things have really wound down here at Twentynine Palms RV Resort, most of our snowbirds have headed back home or on to other adventures.

There are still a few of us here closing up things and waiting for better weather at our chosen summer locations.

We could not be without our Saturday Evening Dinner, so Jim and Linda put some dogs and sausage on the grill and we all brought something and enjoyed a wonderful evening outside in the cool desert air. The weather has been beautiful the past few weeks, highs in the high 80's and lows in the 50's make for very comfortable evenings.

The "Back Porch and Man Cave" were put to use!

World Problems were easily solved!

Food hit the grill!

Always under a watchful eye!

Plenty of food!

The "Man Cave"

The Clubhouse Kitchen is all closed up for the winter scrubbed clean!

The main room in the Clubhouse is scrubbed and everything put away!

Tables folded and stored!

Chairs all stacked and ready for next year!

Ready for next years Memories!

If you are traveling be safe and we will see you next year!

If you are looking for a fun friendly place to spend next winter, make plans to join us for some winter fun! Great Park and most important - fun people and tons of activities and fun times. Blog Update - The Last Supper and Breakfast

It's Official!

Last evening about 12 of us gathered for our last official Saturday Evening Dinner. Jim and Bobbie provided the main dish of spaghetti with meat Sauce and salad, pot luck for the rest - there were wings for appetizer, cabbage salad, hot garlic bread and pie and ice cream for dessert...we had a great time.

Ben baked pies and they were popular!

Sunday Morning was pancakes and sausage and had a good crowd - with Spring break still going on, bunch of tent campers and families up for the weekend - free entrance fees at the National Park and their campgrounds are full!

Big Jim was working the griddle...

Many Thanks to Jim & Bobbie Groos for a wonderful season!

Nice crowd for pancakes!

Lots of young people tent camping in the RV Park!

All that remains for this season is final cleanup of the kitchen and clubhouse then pack up and head North!

See everyone in November!
