Saturday Night Dinner Down Memory Lane!

Another wonderful Saturday Night Dinner in the clubhouse...even though we are missing Lori and Jim Prestwood - 1/2 of our wonderful kitchen staff and fearless leader. In typical 29 Palms Resort fashion the remainder of the crew and guests stepped up to deliver a wonderful dinner - Don and Frankie Norbert along with Jim & Bobbie prepared Frankie's famous Salisbury steak and baked potatoes green beans and salad and fresh bread...it was a huge success and we had over 50 people for dinner...we are in full winter swing here at the resort.

Pat and John Jennette decorated the clubhouse with pictures from past years and everyone enjoyed a trip down memory lane...

After dinner our new DJ Rocked the house again...although we all enjoyed live music with Walt Young, the variation and original music is really enjoyed by the dancers and listeners alike.

Then the pace picked up and the line dancers hit the floor!

How about a rousing rendition of YMCA!

Then Judy did her best imitation of Tony Manero (John Travolta) in Saturday Night Fever!

We all had a wonderful time and can't wait for next week!

Pizza Night and Dancing in the Clubhouse!

A night off for the kitchen staff so it was pizza night...we had a nice turn-out and of course our DJ Rocked the house again....

The Pizza Hut pizza was a good choice and we had about 35 people for dinner. Then a slightly smaller group stayed to hit the dance floor!

And time for some nice slow dances!

Always Fun at Twentynine Palms RV Resort!

There always seems to be something going on at Twentynine Palms RV Resort - this weeks recap.

The mens and ladies golf are in full swing, as well as the morning exercise classes and pool exercises, line dancing lessons, ladies Tea and social, we had a great turnout for Wednesday Happy Hour and BBQ...this week we also had a couple special activities.

Marathon Crafting Session.

The clubhouse was turned into a 24 hour crafting party - supplies were brought in and the ladies worked on a number of projects from sewing to scrapbooking and photo sorting and other projects, nice to be able to work with plenty of room and not having to put everything away or try to work in a small RV. This is a monthly event, lots of projects yet to complete!

Friday Nite at the Bowladium...

A group from the park went bowling and had some fun at the local bowling alley - a few beers, some snacks and some fun!

Saturday Night Dinner at Twentynine Palms RV Resort

It was another great Saturday Night Dinner in the Clubhouse at Twentynine Palms RV Resort. We had Mexican night - with beef or chicken enchiladas, rice and beans and a wonderful salad and fresh bread with ice cream for dessert.

A great job by the kitchen crew as usual!

We had a great turnout with over 40 people!

This Saturday had a little extra excitement and anticipation as we welcomed a new DJ. We all loved our live music in the past with Walt Young, but decided to try something different this year...

He rocked the house!
